Welcome AYVTC Instructors!
This page provides curriculum outlines for you to follow and project examples for you to share for each class. Also listed are expected procedures for each session and instructional "best practice" suggestions.
Procedures
Prior to your class session:
- Review course outline.
- Prepare handouts, CDs or DVDs ahead of time. (If you give your files to us two weeks ahead of time we can load them onto the lab computers.)
- Arrive 1/2 hour before your session begins.
At the beginning of your class session:
Introduce yourself. Share the following announcements:
- New to KCI? Here's an overview of our mission and programs: FastTech Merit
- New to Adobe Youth Voices? Here's an overview of the Youth Voices mission and how to become a member.
- New to Project Based Instruction and Adobe's Create with Purpose Philosophy? Here are some resources to help get projects underway.
- Upcoming AYVTC classes and institutes: Here's how to register.
- All participants must complete the Pre-Survey.
At the end of your class session:
Allow the last 15 minutes of the class for closure tasks:
- Upcoming AYVTC classes and institutes: REGISTER NOW!
- All participants must complete the Post-session Survey.
- Make sure everyone returns their computer to the appropriate slot along with power supply and mouse.
