Our Mission

Our mission is two-fold: We equip educators with project-based instructional strategies using Adobe Youth Voices "Create with Purpose" strategy and philosophy. We also train educators to use the Adobe software tools.

The goal of Adobe Youth Voices is to encourage underserved teens to create works that communicate their ideas, concerns, and aspirations. By tackling relevant issues through media creation, young people also develop skills needed for success in school and a stronger sense of connection in the community.

The Youth Voices program provides students and teachers access to multimedia tools, training and a worldwide network of resources so they can communicate, share ideas, explore and comment on the world around them.

KCI in partnership with RAFT will train educators to effectively engage these young people, facilitating youth created media projects. Educators will learn to use Adobe software to help youth find their voice, communicate their ideas, and exhibit their potential.

Classes

To sign up for our Adobe classes, go to the RAFT AYVTC registration page. Educators of middle and high school students receive priority, but other educators are welcome on a space-available basis.
