Join
the excitement! Take a LINC-FASTtech class in the KCI's state-of-the-art
facility. Our specially designed classrooms allow
you to choose to learn on either a Mac or PC lap top. Our classes focus on technology
skills for educators, yet all are welcome. Most FASTtech
classes are short (1 or 2 Saturday sessions) worth 1/2 or 1 unit, and others are longer and worth more units. Be sure to check the information page the day before the class for any last-minute messages.

Camp BizSmart Comes to the KCI
Do you wonder how the iPod was invented? Are you curious how Google Maps or a Flip Video works? Do you dream of creating the next big idea that could become a company like Apple, Netflix, Google or Facebook?
Students, grades 7 ‐ 9 will work alongside successful Silicon Valley CEO’s from Revolution Foods, Better World Books, Wateroos and Koollage.com to solve actual business problems while developing entrepreneurial skills at Camp BizSmart, held at the state of the art technology facility, Krause Center for Innovation. Be inspired by hip entrepreneurs sharing their true stories and tips for success. www.campbizsmart.org

Open
Access Multimedia Lab
All
Foothill students have access to our Open Access Multimedia
labs during the quarter for which they are registered. Regular
lab hours are 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday,
and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Summer quarter lab hours
are 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The lab
is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Multimedia Festival
Our KCI Merit Program
Teachers and Fellows garnered an astonishing
number of awards from the 40th Annual California Media
and Multimedia Festival (see the complete CMF listing). Over 6000 K-12 students
and hundreds of teachers participated
in last year's Festival! The Festival
celebrates successful use of multimedia
in project-based learning. Come see this
year's Northern California CMF Winners
at Foothill College on June 3. You will
witness extremely high level work from
even our youngest students.
