The Krause Center for Innovation provides a critical resource for teachers amidst the rapid advance of technology. The KCI was established with the goal of serving as a regional hub in the Silicon Valley for empowering teachers to improve their students’ achievement through the use of technology, as well as enhancing the scholarship of teaching. The KCI perspective allows teachers to collaborate on the best practices within a stimulating environment and develop specialized curricula, so that today’s multi-tasking student is better engaged and equipped to learn. The KCI’s training and methods have expanded to school districts throughout the nation, inspiring thousands more teachers to keep pace with the needs of their students.
